সকেটে আঙুল, বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্টে শিশুর মৃত্যু

এপ্রিল ১৬, ২০১৮ কুমিল্লার নাঙ্গলকোটে সকেটে আঙুল ঢুকিয়ে বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্ট হয়ে ইমতিয়াজ মাহমুদ নামে তিন বছরের এক শিশু মারা গেছে। সোমবার উপজেলার রায়কোট উত্তর ইউনিয়নের উত্তর মাহিনী গ্রামে এই ঘটনা ঘটে। শিশু ইমতিয়াজ ওই গ্রামের বাসিন্দা ও বিজয় টিভির কুমিল্লা প্রতিনিধি আবুল কালাম আজাদের ছেলে।
 
শিশুর মামা শাহজাহান মিয়া জানান, সোমবার সকালে পরিবারের সদস্যদের অজান্তে ঘরে থাকা বৈদ্যুতিক সুইচবোর্ডের সকেটে আঙুল ঢুকিয়ে দিলে বিদ্যুৎস্পৃষ্টে অজ্ঞান হয়ে পড়ে শিশু ইমতিয়াজ। পরে গুরতর আহত অবস্থায় তাকে উদ্ধার করে পাশের বাঙ্গড্ডা বাজারের একটি হাসপাতালে নেওয়া হলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক ইমতিয়াজকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। সুত্র
